No it's not a new character, it's Darknite, or rather, Melissara. I've given her a revamp, and made her the first of my new shapeshifting species that I'm still developing called the "Batinicus". So far though, the only real way to tell the difference between a male and female Batinicius are their legs. Males are plantigrade, females are digitigrade. They are NOT related to bats; The only reason why the first syllable of the name is because of their large ears. Though they are omnivores, some, like Melissara, prefer meat.
Bat + Opinicus. Opinicus because they look somewhat "bird-like" at a glance. They are long-lived "demons" that don't reveal their true forms to those not of their kind, or they have grown really attached to someone(I.E. Melissara and her Piger bf). If someone discovered what they truely were underneath, the said person would most likely be eaten. It is unknown if the Batinican people have a place they call home or not, as most are scattered about the world, disguising themselves and living among mortals. Because of their shapeshifting abilities, they have been falsely accused as being demons from the dephs of Hell, and shunned by religious society. I'll reveal more information when I finish.
